Thomson, Corder & Company ("TCCO", "we", "us") is a civil construction contractor operating in North Carolina. 

 

What the program is

Thomson, Corder & Company sends operational text message reminders to its own employees. The program currently covers field supervisors and foremen, and the messages are reminders about payroll and timekeeping — reviewing and correcting crew time before the pay week closes, project coding requirements, and required job documentation.

This is an internal, employee-only program. It is not open to the public, and it is not used for marketing, promotion or advertising of any kind.

 

How employees opt in

Employees give written consent on a TCCO consent form, signed on paper or electronically in our HR system. The form states who sends the messages, what they say, how often they arrive, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop them. Consent is voluntary. Employment, pay, assignments and standing do not depend on it, and TCCO does not retaliate against anyone for declining.

Messages are sent only to the mobile number on the employee’s own record in our HR system.

 

Message frequency

Approximately two messages per week, both sent on the last day of the pay week. Frequency may vary.

 

Cost

TCCO does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates from your own mobile carrier may apply.

 

How to stop the messages

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation, and no further messages will be sent. You can also ask HR or Payroll to remove you.

Opting out does not change the underlying responsibility the messages refer to. A supervisor who stops receiving the reminders is still responsible for their crew’s time being entered accurately and on time.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and can be affected by carrier networks and device settings.

 

Privacy

Mobile numbers and consent records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

 

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed.
